About Me
Keerthana Rajes was born in Berlin, Germany in 1995. She completed the B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry while focussing on organic chemistry and environmentally apporaches in synthesis. Afterwards, she joined as a doctoral candidate in the working group of Prof. Rainer Haag at the Free University Berlin (Germany). During her doctoral training, her research interests were on nanomolecular drug delivery for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. After a post-doctoral stay in Germany, she joined the Emergent Soft Matter Function research group at Riken (Japan) under the supervision of Prof. Takuzo Aida in 2022 as a Leopoldina postdoctoral fellow. She is working on Guanidinium-based molecules focussing on their adhesive nature.
